The vehicle information site said this week it expects new-vehicle sales to total 1.43 million units in October, the highest October sales volume in more than a decade.
New-vehicle retail sales and the retail seasonally adjusted annualized selling rate are expected to be at their highest levels for the month of June since 2005, according to a monthly sales forecast by J.D. Power and LMC Automotive.
Total light-vehicle retail sales are expected to reach 1.3 million units in February, the highest total for the month since 2002, according to projections from J.D. Power and LMC Automotive.
New-vehicle retail sales in December are expected to reach a SAAR of 14.2 million units, the highest level since 2006.
